Are you passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential? Do you have industry experience in health and social care, and a desire to share your knowledge through teaching?
Responsibilities:
- Develop the Early Years vocational area study programme and teach a range of Early Years skills to young people aged 16-18 (up to 25 with an EHCP).
- Work with young people and support a team of staff, volunteers and other agencies to assertively and creatively engage with hard-to-reach young people.
- Contribute to, devise and develop schemes of work, session plans and resources to meet curriculum requirements and equip young people with Early Years skills, personal, social and development skills, motivation, confidence and employability skills to progress into and sustain employment and/or further education/training.
- Support the team to source work placements and help young people attend these placements.
- Work to a case-load ratio and meet key performance indicators for qualification achievement, attendance and progression.
