This role is part of a high-performing Business Development team at Barnardo's, focusing on developing proposals and tenders to support children, young people and families. The role involves working with internal and external stakeholders, producing compelling proposals, and supporting service design and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of proposals and tenders, from brief to delivery, ensuring strong business cases and bids.
  • Lead the development and delivery of bids, working to deadlines and presenting outcomes to commissioners and partners.
  • Develop new services and innovations in priority growth areas and monitor market intelligence.
  • Assess commercial and contract risks and collaborate with operational colleagues in Children's Services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support proposal development.
  • Support the development of proposals and service design through analysis of large volumes of information.
  • Work within a full-time "Work from Anywhere" role, with occasional travel as required.

Work Conditions

  • Full‑time role (36.25 hours per week) working on a "Work from Anywhere" basis.
  • You may work from home, at an office hub or a local collaboration hub and may be required to travel.
