- Receptionist & Administrator
- Manage reception - taking calls, enquires and public area
- Manage room bookings for meeting rooms and sensory rooms
- Managing some health and safety checks of building
- Supporting other administration staff
- Checking mail and post
- Induction on staff around building
- Any other duties as requested by management
- Accurately input and maintain service user data across systems and trackers, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and data integrity
- Process referrals received from across Birmingham from multiple sources, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records across systems, and following up on any missing or unclear data as required
- Run reports and collate data to support quarterly contract monitoring and performance reporting
- Provide flexible staff support, assisting with day-to-day operational tasks and sharing information as required
- Deal with sensitive and confidential information, initiating and maintaining office systems
- Work on own initiative to resolve issues
- Act appropriately and within policy & procedure with any representation or complaints, from any source, in a fully compliant and professional manner to ensure that concerns are addressed, resolved, and documented in line with relevant Children’s Services Policies
- Safeguarding – ensuring active engagement is maintained in the interests of the child at all levels and that all issues are dealt with comprehensively and compliantly to Barnardo’s policy and procedures
- Attend team meetings, actively prepare, and contribute to supervision with line manager, reflecting on practice and learning
