Do you enjoy working with parents and carers? Are you confident supporting families and helping parents build confidence? Would you like to grow your skills in a friendly, community-based service? At Sandwell Family Hubs, we support families from pregnancy through to adulthood. As a Parenting & School Readiness Practitioner, you'll support children, young people and families aged 0-19 (up to 25 with SEND).
In this role, you will:
- Lead parenting and school readiness programmes and sessions, including groups, workshops, drop-ins and one-to-one support
- Build positive, trusting relationships with parents and carers
- Work as part of a supportive Family Hub team
- Work with partner services to help families get the support they need at the right time
This role is based across Sandwell Family Hubs. You will need to work flexibly across different locations. Some evening and weekend work will be expected to meet family needs.
