Part‑time Project Worker 1 – Thrive Service

Responsibilities

  • Support service delivery to children and young people with disability in the Thrive Service.
  • Develop and facilitate group work and 1‑to‑1 support sessions at the service base, Monday–Thursday 1:30‑7:30pm.
  • Complete assessments, care plans and maintain records in line with local and organisational policy.
  • Work collaboratively and flexibly with partners, children, young people and families to shape support plans.
  • Apply safeguarding policies and procedures and uphold the adversities experienced by children, young people and families, particularly around disability and ASN.

Qualifications

  • HNC in Social Care or an equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience of working with children and young people.
  • Experience of developing and facilitating group work.
  • Demonstrated creativity, dynamism and flexibility in meeting the needs of children and young people.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Salary is determined by Barnardo's Pay Framework.

Starting salaries are between the minimum and mid‑point of the pay band, with annual progression based on contribution to excellence and alignment to our values and behaviours.
