Barnardo's are seeking to recruit an Employability Worker to support our service that covers the Highlands. This role is part of our wider Employment, Training and Skills (ETS) service within Barnardo's that delivers employability and skills support across the UK.

Job Criteria:

  • Previous experience of working with young people in informal settings
  • Demonstrate the ability to deliver training to groups of young people
  • Experience of supporting young people on a one-to-one basis to help them achieve their goals and remove barriers
  • Demonstrate good skills in recording and completing paperwork to ensure we meet the needs of our funders
  • Good knowledge and understanding of key local employability provision
