An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified social worker to become part of a well-established, dynamic team in one of Barnardo's family centres based in Bangor, County Down. Simpson Family Centre provides a range of assessments and education to parents and carers in partnership with the South-Eastern Trust. Using a strengths'-based approach, we always work with hope that parents and carers can be supported to make positive changes in order to care for their children.
Whilst the work with families is centre and community based, we support a hybrid model of working to include working from home as and when this is agreed.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced Access NI with Child and Adult Barred List check. A waiting list will also be compiled for similar vacancies which may arise across the organisation over the next 12 months.
