In addition to maximising sales and profit in store, you will ensure the very highest standards of presentation and customer service β€” your aim will be to make your store the best in town for customers to visit and for your colleagues to work in.

As a Store Associate you will support the manager with all aspects of running a busy store. You will have responsibilities and also the chance to develop and learn with an experienced store manager by your side. You’ll need to be well organised with great communication skills and ready to learn how to lead your team in store to maximise sales and profit and meet your store 0targets.

Responsibilities

  • Support the manager with all aspects of running a busy store and contribute to achieving store targets.
  • Help maximise sales and profit while maintaining high standards of presentation and customer service.
  • Lead and develop your team in store under the guidance of an experienced store manager.
  • Be well organised and communicate effectively to ensure smooth store operations.
  • Ensure safeguarding requirements are followed in the recruitment process (Basic criminal records check consent as part of Barnardo \’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding).

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service and work well in a team.
  • Good organisation and communication skills; willingness to learn and lead a team to meet store targets.
  • Interest in training and development with promotion prospects within a large charity retailer.
  • Consent to a Basic criminal records check as part of the recruitment process.
