We are thrilled to be recruiting for a Highways Officer to join our client in Fareham. Our client is a fast-growing, award-winning structural engineering and transport planning consultancy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Write, check and approve technical reports
- Good understanding of modelling packages and methodologies
- Support preparation of and approve technical drawings where appropriate
- Attendance as expert witness at appeal hearings and/or public inquiries
- Project manage schemes, including budget and time management
- Assist with training and mentoring members of staff
- Develop and inform Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and team strategies
- Represent the company at external meetings/events with clients
About You: / Experience required:
- Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
- At least 7 years transport planning experience
- Extensive Transport Planning experience
- Experience in managing/training members of staff
- Experience of working with computer-based systems including Microsoft programmes
