We\βre currently looking to expand our team with a skilled and motivated Commercial Repair and Service Engineer to carry out maintenance and repair work on light commercial plants in the North West.
Location: North West | Salary: OTE Β£39k β Β£50k + Benefits
Role Overview
As a Commercial Repair and Service Engineer, you will primarily be responsible for the reactive and preventive maintenance of light commercial plants.
This will include gas boiler repair, servicing, and testing.
You may also be involved in commercial catering checks (if qualified) and some installation work.
If you have an interest in FGAS and air conditioning, we will offer further training to develop your skills in this area.
Previous experience in general HVAC will be highly beneficial.
We will be willing to up-skill an experienced domestic engineer to gain commercial qualifications to a suitable candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Perform repairs and servicing on gas boilers and light commercial HVAC systems.
Complete general HVAC maintenance and servicing tasks.
Conduct electrical fault finding and basic electrical testing using a multi-meter.
Provide commercial catering checks (if qualified).
Installation work as required.
Participate in a 1 in 7 callout rota.
Candidate Requirements
Good fault-finding skills and knowledge of general heating systems.
Basic electrical testing knowledge (using a multi-meter).
Experience working with light commercial plants and HVAC systems.
Full driving license.
Ideal location: Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire, or Lancashire.
