Upstairs at the Grill, a leading fine dining steakhouse in Chester, is looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join its established kitchen brigade. Inspired by classic Manhattan steakhouses, we are known for premium steaks, fresh food, high-quality produce and a refined dining experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Chef de Partie looking to develop their career in a professional, produce‑led kitchen with strong work/life balance and a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Run your section efficiently and consistently during service
- Prepare and cook high‑quality dishes using fresh, premium ingredients
- Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to maintain standards
- Support junior chefs with training and day‑to‑day guidance
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards
- Assist with stock rotation, prep and section organisation
About You
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demitre Chef de Partie
- Passion for fresh food, quality produce and fine dining standards
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy service environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Reliable team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
