About us
The Rifleman is a proper community pub tucked away in Twickenham, with a focus on great beer, good company and a welcoming atmosphere. We’re closed now while we give the pub a new lease of life, but the plan is to be back open by the beginning of November with a great selection of cask ales, craft beers and lagers, alongside live music, pub quizzes and plenty of rugby. We’re a small, friendly team looking for someone who wants to be part of building a brilliant local pub.
About you
We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Supervisor/Trainee Assistant Manager who enjoys chatting with customers and takes pride in running a great pub. Previous bar experience is essential, ideally with some supervisory experience. An interest in cask ale and craft beer would be a big bonus, but most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude who enjoys being part of a community pub.
The role
- 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends..
- £15 per hour..
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the pub..
- Opening and closing, cash handling and stock management..
- Serving customers, changing barrels and maintaining beer quality..
- Helping lead a small team and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our regulars and new customers alike..
