We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, positive and ambitious person to join our friendly team as a Property Trainee to learn everything there is to know about the Property Lettings and Sales business. Our dedication to customer service is at the forefront of what we do, therefore we are only interested in hiring people with a great attitude, and full industry training is provided as part of this position.

Strong communication skills over the phone and in person are a must as is reliability, common sense and a proactive attitude. The position will entail spending at least two days per week supporting our Property Manager on maintenance administration and the remaining time supporting the wider team and learning on the job. Additionally, time will be allocated to do training on our superb online Training Portal.

Candidates must have the following attributes:

  • Be articulate and able to communicate via phone in a confident manner.
  • Ideally be educated to good GCSE or A Level standard.
  • Have proficient computing skills and the ability to use Outlook, Word and basic Spreadsheets.
  • Display common sense and pay attention to detail.
  • Be able to work well on their own but also be a team player.
  • Be able to cope under pressure in a busy, but fun environment.
  • Ideally be a car driver.
  • Ideally have prior customer service experience.

No previous property experience is required but must be a quick learner and be able to handle all tasks efficiently. The position will be for a minimum of 30 hours per week, maximum 40 hours per week and will initially be for a 12 month period which will likely be extended to a permanent role if the candidate has performed successfully and progressed well over the 12 months.
