We seek to appoint a Behaviour Support Officer for 37 hours per week, working term time only to join our team at Barlby High School. Barlby High School is a friendly, warm and caring community school with staff that are fully committed to supporting students and each other in bringing the school's vision to life. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, inspirational individual, who is passionate about outstanding education and developing the whole child.

The core focus of this job is to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for implementing the schools Attendance Policy and improving the attendance of students. Works with identified students and their parents / carers whose attendance is a barrier to their performance. Responsible for recording, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on attendance data. The postholder will place a strong emphasis on safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive relationships, ensuring pupils feel safe, supported, and motivated to attend school every day.
