The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 Β£ per year.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children;
- Can demonstrate a warm and caring approach with children;
- Is able to supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times;
- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;
- Is self-motivated, energetic and proactive and will support in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality education and care for all of our children;
- Has experience of working with children (3 β 9 years old) in a play / educational setting;
- Has food handling experience and/or a food handling certificate (or willingness to complete one);
- Has a positive and flexible attitude;
- Is first aid trained (advantageous);
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations;
- Will report any concerns regarding a child's welfare or behaviour to the nominated person or Designated safeguarding lead (using the schools safeguarding system);
- Will ensure a daily register is taken and reconcile this to bookings received;
- Will organise equipment and resources;
- Under the direction of the Headteacher, supervise the work of other after school staff;
- Has a Level 3 qualification or is willing to work towards this with support.
