Join to apply for the Band 6 e-RS System Lead role at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. A great opportunity to work in our busy Outpatient Department at King George Hospital. The eRS System Lead is primarily responsible for the e-RS system and its function for BHRUT. The post holder will ensure the e-RS system provides an effective and safe platform for the use of e-Referral into the trust, and clinical advice. The role involves robust risk management for the system and its processes.
The post is full time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The post holder will line manage the e-RS Coordinators and work collaboratively with clinical staff, support teams, and management across the Trust to ensure the e-RS system functions efficiently. A key aspect is fostering and enhancing communication between these groups. The role supports the Trust’s ongoing implementation and development of the ERS system and the implementation of the Trust\\\’s Electronic Patient Record in November 2025.
Responsibilities
- Line management of the e-RS Coordinators and ensure effective and efficient daily operation and maintenance of the ERS booking system.
- Ensure the e-RS system provides an effective and safe platform for e-Referrals and clinical advice.
- Collaborate with professional and support staff, clinicians, and management teams to ensure an efficient function of the e-RS system across the trust; promote effective channels of communication between groups.
- Support the Trust\\\’s ongoing implementation and development of the ERS booking system and the Electronic Patient Record project.
