Lecturer - SEND

Responsibilities
Plan and develop lessons, including the development of schemes of work
Develop and implement learner-centred assessment methods, with a focus on constructive and developmental feedback for students
Encourage, monitor and report on the attendance, progress and achievements of students
Ensure safe working environments for students and colleagues; enforce health and safety standards in your area, ensuring all students understand and comply
Undertake personal coaching and pastoral responsibilities for designated students to support their development and future progression
Keep abreast of industry developments in your specialist area to ensure the relevance and continued employability of our students
Actively participate in continuing professional development around theory and practice within the education sector
Qualifications
Hold a teaching qualification and have experience of teaching in the Further or Higher Education sectors
All applicants should have good administrative skills and be able to accurately track students\’ attendance, progress and achievements

The salary scale for this role is £26,514 – £46,307 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, depending on qualifications and experience.
