Pay
Base pay range: £25,494 – £44,526 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, depending on qualifications and experience.
Role
Based at the Rush Green Campus, you will inspire and support students across our department, contribute to course development and provide practical experience.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and develop lessons and schemes of work.
- Implement learner‑centred assessment methods with constructive feedback.
- Monitor attendance, progress and achievements.
- Ensure safe working environments and enforce health‑and‑safety standards.
- Provide personal coaching and pastoral care for designated students.
- Stay updated on industry developments to enhance relevance and employability.
- Participate in continuing professional development.
Qualifications, skills and experience
- Hold a teaching qualification and have experience in Further or Higher Education.
- Or possess a Level 3 qualification in the subject with willingness to undertake a teaching qualification through our Passport to Teaching programme.
- Recent and relevant experience delivering Plumbing to learners from Entry Level to Level 3, including Plumbing & Heating and Gas pathways.
- Good administrative skills and accurate tracking of student progress.
