Salary: £29,296 - £30,883 per year (pro rata from full‑time salary)

Contract: Permanent, full time, term‑time only (36 hours per week)

What we’ll need from you:

  • GCSE or Level 2 Maths (or equivalent) at Pass is essential.
  • HLTA Status or equivalent level of education, or a willingness to work towards this pathway.
  • Pass grades at GCSE Maths & English (or Level 2 Equivalent) are essential.
  • Demonstrable background of continuous development in a professional or academic capacity – ideally in the Student Support space across Further Education – be it administrative or teaching‑support related.
  • Ability to influence change and cultivate meaningful, quality relationships with colleagues and learners across the College.
  • Communicative approach to tailored learning with the ability to adapt to unique learner needs.
  • Open to professional background: Graduate exploring options, or a Teaching Assistant seeking a specialist career path – especially with experience mentoring/supporting learners with SEN needs (including ADHD, Dyslexia and Autism).
  • Knowledge of/interest in Safeguarding, Child Protection procedures, assistive technology and inclusive teaching practices.
