We have an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking and creative leader to join a new bold initiative designed to dramatically change the lives of some of the most vulnerable children in England today for the better. Reset is an innovative and creative programme designed to break the cycle that leads vulnerable children to be deprived of their liberty because of the harm they face. It provides an intensive package of therapeutic, practical and behavioural support through an integrated model. As part of the programme, young people will have access to a Reset retreat, a short stay in Reset residential provision, and a tailored support plan.

We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead on the delivery of a unique 18 month Reset pilot. You will need to be rooted in practice, with experience of working at a frontline and strategic local authority level with vulnerable adults and children. You will bring strong practice management and operational skills and be persuasive and able to recruit and motivate partners to support forward thinking and integrated service provision. You and the young people you work with will benefit from you working flexibly in line with Barking & Dagenham's flexible working policy, and you will be part of a team on-call rota. This is a unique opportunity to support a bold, pioneering programme that is reshaping practice.

Interviews will take place the week commencing 27th July 2026. The closing date for this role is Sunday, 12th July 2026.
