We are looking for a friendly, flexible, and enthusiastic Receptionist/Admin Assistant to undertake daily attendance monitoring and general administrative duties at our Longbridge Campus and Sandringham Campus. The School offices are the first point of contact for visitors, parents and carers, and this role is integral to the smooth operation of the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do approach.
- Professional, welcoming, and efficient service at the front office.
- Work effectively in a busy office and reception area.
- Adapt to flexible working hours and handle pressure.
- Use initiative to prioritise workload and deliver tasks on time.
- Provide support in monitoring the medical room and, where required, undertake first aid duties.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and general administrative support.
Working Hours and Salary
- 35 hours per week, term-time only (possibility of 10 plus days).
- Working hours Monday to Friday, rota between 7:45 am – 5:00 pm, with shifts of 7 hours: either 7:45–15:45 or 09:00–17:00.
- Contract type: Permanent, Term-time Only.
- Salary Scale: Scale 3 (Pt 5–6, £29,436–£29,856 full-time); prorated salary for 35 hours is approximately £23,920–£24,261 depending on experience, weeks per year, and continuous service.
- Start date: September 2026.
Qualifications & Skills Desired
- First-aid qualification or willingness to undertake first-aid training.
- ICT experience is essential; specific training will be provided for specialist school software.
- Experience working with young people is an advantage.
- A self-motivated and dynamic administrator is preferred.
