This casual site officer post covers Barking Abbey School and its partner, Eastbrook School, working across both campuses alongside the facilities team. What the job involves
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks
- Ensure the security and upkeep of school buildings
- Conduct security checks
- Oversee cleaning
- Carry out caretaking duties
- Carry out manual handling, including moving furniture and equipment
- Keep school environments safe, well-maintained and comfortable for students, staff and visitors
- Work alongside other site officers and the facilities team across multiple campuses
- Comply with safeguarding policies and procedures
