We are excited to be searching for a Research and Development Technologist to join our growing business. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to innovation programs to build on our 700+ lines in a variety of product ranges including jams, chutneys, drink concentrates and savoury sauces with more to come! This role is an exciting mix of product, process and packaging development as part of a collaborative and innovative research & development team.

This role is responsible for:

  • Driving innovation and development of new products with a focus on customer needs and operational objectives.
  • Building relationships and support new products as they are trialed in the Factory with our amazing people on the shop floor and support teams.
  • Managing product development process, from concept through to launch, by leading cross-functional teams and effectively communicating new product launches within the company.
  • Collaborating and contributing to a great team and supportive internal network.
  • Improving existing products and processes and to provide technical support to internal teams and external customers.

What We're Looking For:

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and innovate.
  • Interest in food trends with a personal passion for good food.
  • Proven experience in food or related industries is essential, with 4+ years experience and a Food Science or related qualification preferred.
  • Be a contributor to a great team and supportive internal network.
