Role Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Head Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our small but dynamic kitchen team. You’ll work closely with management to develop seasonal menus, manage kitchen operations, and ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a small kitchen team, including rota planning and holiday management
- Shape and influence our seasonal menus, working closely with management on recipes, presentation, and new dish ideas
- Maintain excellent EHO knowledge and compliance with all food safety regulations
- Manage supplier relationships, inventory, and stock control efficiently
- Oversee weekend and peak service, ensuring consistency and quality
- Mentor and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards
About You
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager in a similar environment
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and EHO regulations
- Experience managing inventory, ordering, and stock control
- Experience managing a small team, rotas, and holidays
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Passionate about seasonal cooking and menu innovation, with a flair for creating dishes that stand out
