You’ll be part of a professional, supportive rehabilitation environment where you can combine Veterinary Physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and underwater treadmill rehabilitation, working alongside a fantastic team of canine professionals.
The Role
You’ll work with a varied canine caseload, providing individualised rehabilitation programmes and hands-on treatment alongside hydrotherapy where appropriate. Our aim is to provide a joined-up approach to rehabilitation, with treatment plans tailored to each individual dog and their goals.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing hydrotherapy and underwater treadmill treatments
- Monitoring patient progress and adapting treatment plans
- Liaising with owners and veterinary professionals
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Working collaboratively with our hydrotherapists and wider team
- Supporting and overseeing rehabilitation programmes
- Maintaining excellent standards of canine welfare, hygiene and patient care
- Following health & safety, infection control and centre procedures
- Water management
This is a role where your clinical knowledge will be valued. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of your caseload while working within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Recognised qualification in Veterinary Physiotherapy
- Recognised canine hydrotherapy qualification
- Level 4 Advanced/Applied Underwater Treadmill qualification
- Eligible for relevant professional registration/membership
- Experience or confidence working with canine rehabilitation patients
Additional qualifications and experience are welcomed.
Sole Working
Some shifts will involve sole working, so you’ll need to be confident, organised and comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the centre. When sole working, responsibilities may include opening and closing the centre, preparing facilities, carrying out safety checks, managing appointments and client arrivals, monitoring and managing pool water chemical levels, recording water-quality checks, maintaining hygiene standards and securing the premises at the end of the shift. Full training will be provided on our procedures, equipment, water management and emergency protocols.
