Barker Ross are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our client's team covering the Maidstone and Tunbridge areas. This is a hands-on outdoor role ideal for candidates who enjoy working outside and take pride in maintaining public and green spaces to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, and general grounds maintenance
  • Using hand tools and powered equipment safely and effectively
  • Maintaining outdoor areas to a high standard
  • Travelling between local sites during the working day
  • Working independently and as part of a team

Requirements

  • Valid UK manual driving licence (essential)
  • Previous grounds maintenance, landscaping, or gardening experience essential
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
  • Must live locally to the Maidstone or Tunbridge areas
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
