Storeman | £14.84 per hour | Sutton-in-Ashfield Barker Ross are currently recruiting for a Storeman to join a metal fabrication firm based in Sutton-in-Ashfield. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, practical and has an interest in engineering or manufacturing. Key Details Pay: £14.84 per hour Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30 Friday: 07:15 - 13:30 Overtime: Available Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 08:00, paid at 1.5x Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield The Role As a Storeman, your responsibilities will include: Managing deliveries in and out of the site Supervising and monitoring the stores area Issuing the correct components and materials Stock control and monitoring usage Managing minimum order quantities and expiry dates Using emails and Excel on a day-to-day basis Keeping the stores area organised, tidy and efficient Supporting with other reasonable duties as required What We're Looking For Previous stores, warehouse or engineering experience General engineering knowledge or experience would be beneficial Good computer skills, including email and Excel SAP experience is preferred Banksman and forklift training would be an advantage A willingness to complete forklift/Banksman training if not already qualified Organised and tidy with good attention to detail Someone who takes pride in their workspace Reliable, willing to learn and happy to get stuck inIf interested, please apply or contact Kimberley on (phone number removed).
