Our client is a long established and highly respected Building Services Engineering Consultancy delivering innovative and sustainable MEP design solutions across the UK. Due to continued project growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Revit / CAD Technician to join their Nottingham based team.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled MEP Revit / CAD Technician to play a key role in supporting the design and coordination of a wide range of building services projects. Working closely with engineers and design teams, you will be responsible for producing accurate 2D and 3D drawings and coordinated BIM models using Revit MEP and AutoCAD. You will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from early stage design through to project completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain detailed 2D and 3D models for mechanical and electrical building services using Revit MEP and AutoCAD
  • Support the coordination of multidisciplinary building services designs
  • Ensure all drawings and BIM outputs comply with company and industry standards
  • Assist with the development and implementation of BIM and Revit best practice processes
  • Coordinate project information and communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Deliver accurate work within project deadlines while maintaining high quality standards

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience using Revit MEP within a building services consultancy or contractor environment
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical building services systems
  • Proficient with Revit MEP and AutoCAD
  • Good understanding of BIM processes and design coordination principles
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines effectively
  • Excellent communication and team working skills

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Navisworks, Dynamo or related BIM software
  • Understanding of ISO 19650 standards
