Barker Ross is currently recruiting for an experienced PPT Driver to join a busy warehouse operation based in the NN4 area.

Pay & Working Hours

£12.72 per hour Monday to Friday 22:00pm - 06:30am

The Role

As a PPT Driver, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. This is a hands-on role that combines PPT driving with general warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) safely and efficiently
  • Picking and packing orders accurately
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Receiving and storing stock in designated warehouse locations
  • Using handheld scanners and warehouse systems to manage inventory
  • Carrying out quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods
  • Reporting any stock discrepancies, damages, or operational issues
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Following all health & safety procedures and site regulations
  • Supporting the warehouse team to achieve daily targets

What We're Looking For

  • Previous PPT experience is essential
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Understanding of warehouse health & safety practices
