Barker Ross are looking for experienced Parcel Hub Operatives to join a busy distribution hub in the Nuneaton area. The Role: This is a hands-on, physically active role involving the sorting and movement of parcels throughout the hub. You will be working on a conveyor belt, sorting parcels and manually moving them onto cages, pallets and other areas of the site. Key duties include: Sorting parcels from a belt into the correct cages and areas Manually handling and moving parcels throughout the hub Loading and unloading cages and pallets Using pump trucks/pallet trucks where required Working as part of a busy team to meet daily targets Maintaining a safe and tidy working environmentFurther Information: Boots, Hi Vis & Gloves required Full time Temp to perm Sunday-Thursday OR Monday - Friday Excellent training and progression oppurtunities Days and Nights available with varied shift times £12.71 Per hourPrevious warehouse, parcel or distribution experience is essential, and pallet truck experience would be advantageous. We are particularly interested in candidates who are looking for a long-term opportunity, with the potential to move from temporary to permanent employment. There are also genuine training and progression opportunities, with existing staff able to progress into Team Leader, Team Manager and Hub Manager positions.
