A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a Motor Parts & Accessories Specialist, based in Lincoln. Our client requires 4 warehousing operatives to join their busy team on a temporary ongoing basis. The roles have the potential to go permanent, following a successful probationary period.
The hours of work are 08:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday - 42.5 hours.
The role will include the following duties:
- Picking stock via a handheld scanner. Attention to detail is essential as the site holds a catalogue of over 90,000 parts.
- Walking to a variety of destinations within the warehouse, over 3 floors and Mezzanines - candidates will need to cover 20,000 steps daily and so the need to be physically fit.
- Unloading of new stock incoming and entering detail onto a computer database.
- Packing orders ready for despatch, as part of their national distribution centre.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Self-starting and motivated, often used to taking instruction and working through tasks alone.
- Previous experience of working within the Motor Parts Industry would be an advantage.
