About the Role
Barker Ross is recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist in mechanised irrigation and water management. We are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their growing team, providing installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems at customer sites across the UK. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will spend the majority of your time working in the field, with occasional workshop-based duties, supporting customers with the installation, fault finding, and maintenance of large-scale irrigation equipment.
You will work on equipment including:
- Irrigation booms and hose reels
- Pumps and pumping systems
- Hydraulic systems
- Diesel-driven equipment
- Electrical control systems, automation, sensors, and controls
The role involves diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, testing equipment, and ensuring systems operate efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
