Barker Ross are currently recruiting for an engineers assistant. Our client is a ever expanding leading Internet Pet food Supplier.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Helping clean down of machines
  • Taking photographs and reporting faults
  • Assisting the trained engineers
  • Helping to maintain and assemble some manufacturing lines
  • Assisting with getting the tools and assisting with all other associated duties

Job Type: Full-time, Ongoing work - Monday to Friday, but some Saturdays will be required.

Salary: £12.80 per hour

Working pattern: Normally 8am start, but some flexibility will be required.

Experience:

  • Working with tools, or on the lines
  • Any apprenticeship in engineering or mechanical fitting would be advantageous
  • Or a mechanical engineering background
