Our client is looking for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join their team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. They are looking for a hard-working, reliable individual who can offer flexibility and commitment.
This is a temp to perm position! (For the right candidate)
Job Duties:
- Operating industrial sewing machines in a fast-paced production setting
- Sewing a range of materials to required specifications
- Carrying out twin needle sewing, top sewing, flat sewing, and overlocking
- Completing regular sewing machine checks and basic maintenance
- Overlock machines
- Ensure consistently high-quality workmanship
- Achieve production targets and deadlines
- Follow health & safety and quality procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience as a Sewing Machinist or similar role
- Have experience with: Twin needle machines, top sewing, flat sewing
