We're recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business supplying packaging solutions into the healthcare sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with machine operating experience gained within a manufacturing or packaging environment who is looking to develop their skills and train as an Extrusion Operator. What you'll be doing:
- Operating production machinery safely and efficiently to meet production targets and quality standards
- Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments where required
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet specification
- Loading and handling raw materials in line with production requirements
- Recording production data accurately and maintaining relevant documentation
- Identifying and reporting machine faults or maintenance requirements
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Working closely with Team Leaders and the wider production team
- Undertaking full training to develop into an Extrusion Operator role
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality

- Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing, production, or packaging environment
- A strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new processes
- An interest in developing a career within extrusion manufacturing
- Good understanding of health & safety and quality standards
