As Engineering Supervisor, you will lead and develop a team of engineers, driving performance, reliability and continuous improvement across the site. This role is ideal for an ambitious engineer looking to progress their management career within a highly supportive business.
The Role
- Lead and organise the engineering team to deliver high performance and maximum equipment efficiency
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance activities through the CMMS system
- Drive Health & Safety standards and engineering compliance across the site
- Support continuous improvement, machine reliability and OEE initiatives
- Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and improve operational performance
- Manage contractors, engineering budgets, spare parts and maintenance records
- Coach and develop engineers and apprentices within the team
- Support CAPEX projects, machinery upgrades and sustainability initiatives
About You
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, processing or industrial environments
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems and automated machinery
- Previous experience leading or supervising engineers
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, hands-on and motivated to progress your career
- Experience using CMMS systems and maintaining engineering records
- Desirable IOSH or NEBOSH 18th Edition / BS7671
- Lean, 5S or Six Sigma experience
- Steam systems or industrial laundry experience
- CAPEX or project engineering exposure
