We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a well-established frozen foods distribution company based in ME20, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing work, consistent hours, immediate start potential, and a competitive pay rate.
Key Details
- Location: ME20, Kent
- Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour
- Start Times: Between 4:00am - 6:00am
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, plus every other Saturday
- Shift Length: Approx. 10 hours (depending on runs)
The Role
- Delivering frozen food products to customers and distribution centres
- Multi-drop deliveries across London and the South, within Working Time Regulations
- Routes typically range from 5-6 drops initially, progressing up depending on experience and route planning
- Drivers will not be started on high drop volumes immediately and may be buddied up during initial shifts
- Some routes involve closely located drops (e.g. London areas), while longer-distance runs will have fewer drops
- Manual Handling Handballing involved
- Offloading required at each drop
- Goods include palletised stock and crates
- No cages used
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
- Reliable, professional attitude and strong work ethic
Induction & Start
- Induction and paid training day provided tomorrow
- Successful candidates can move onto shifts from Thursday
- Full onboarding support provided, including buddying where required
