Grounds Maintenance Operative – Maidstone & Tunbridge Area
Barker Ross are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our client’s team covering the Maidstone and Tunbridge areas. This is a hands-on outdoor role ideal for candidates who enjoy working outside and take pride in maintaining public and green spaces to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, and general grounds maintenance
- Using hand tools and powered equipment safely and effectively
- Maintaining outdoor areas to a high standard
- Travelling between local sites during the working day
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Valid UK manual driving licence (essential)
- Previous grounds maintenance, landscaping, or gardening experience (essential)
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Must live locally to the Maidstone or Tunbridge areas
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- £13.45 per hour PAYE
- Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
- Company vehicle provided during working hours
