Timber Frame / First Fix Joiners – Derby (DE22)

We are seeking two skilled Timber Frame / First Fix Joiners to join a high-end residential project in Derby. This role involves working on the construction of a three-floor penthouse apartment, carrying out detailed timber frame and first fix joinery tasks.

Position Details:

  • Start Date: Immediate start available

  • Duration: Approximately 2 weeks

  • Location: Derby, DE22

  • Project: Timber frame and first fix joinery on a luxury three-storey penthouse apartment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out timber frame installation to a high standard

  • Completing first fix joinery including framework, floors, studwork, door linings, and associated tasks

  • Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications

  • Ensuring all work meets site health and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS card

  • Demonstrable experience in timber frame and first fix joinery

  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings

  • Own tools and PPE

  • Reliability and ability to work to deadlines

Rates of Pay:

  • CIS / Self-employed: £24 – £25.00 per hour (depending on experience)

This is a short-term contract on a high-specification build, so applicants must be able to hit the ground running and deliver quality workmanship.
