Barker Ross is recruiting on behalf of their Transport client based in Mesaham for a Transport Supervisor on an on-going temporary basis.
Transport Supervisor Monday - Friday 03:30 - 11:00 (8 hours per day) £15.92 per hour
Duties:
- Very fast paced environment dealing with Class 2 Drivers making home deliveries
- Managing a fleet of vehicles
- Supporting the Transport Manager with managing the transport operation onsite
- Report all non-compliance
- Ensure the safe delivery of products and administration of the paperwork is to a high standard
- Carry out Driver pre-briefs on a daily basis
- Deal with day to day driver issues
- Liaise with drivers, maintenance and breakdown recovery
Skills:
- Previous transport supervisor experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Driving hours and regulations knowledge
