What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead projects ensuring safety, quality, and cost standards are met at every stage.
  • Communicate daily with customers, suppliers, and internal technical teams.
  • Run project review meetings and present project status confidently.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving challenges to ensure on-time delivery within defined commercial targets.
  • Participate in feasibility studies, manufacturing concept reviews, and tool/equipment design reviews.
  • Take ownership of projects from nomination to final implementation, applying strong project management skills.
  • Apply practical problem-solving tools, including 8D, Fishbone Diagrams, Pareto Charts, and 5 Whys.
  • Utilize your knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow/Mapping.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers during new production introductions, demonstrating excellent communication and presentation skills.

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree-educated in an engineering discipline.
  • 2-3 years' experience as a Project Engineer or Graduate Project Engineer within automotive manufacturing.
  • Strong technical knowledge of injection moulding manufacturing processes.
  • Natural communicator with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Practical, problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.
