Job Description:

Barker Ross currently recruiting for experienced PPT Drivers for our client based in Northampton. This is ongoing position Monday to Friday - rotation shift 12:00 to 20:30 and 6:00 to 14:00

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating the PPT:
    Safely and efficiently maneuvering a powered pallet truck to move goods within the warehouse.
  • Loading and Unloading:
    Handling the loading and unloading of deliveries and dispatching orders in compliance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Stock Management:
    Accurately picking, packing, and checking orders, moving and storing products in their correct locations, and performing stock rotation.
  • Warehouse Operations:
    Assisting with various other warehouse tasks, such as general cleaning, to support smooth operations.
  • Health and Safety:
    Adhering to health and safety regulations, performing equipment safety checks, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience as a PPT driver is often a requirement.
  • A valid PPT license or certificate is typically necessary.
  • Attention to detail for accurate stock and order handling.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to meet productivity targets.
  • Handle manual tasks and work in a demanding environment.
  • Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with other warehouse staff.
