Barker Ross is currently recruiting on behalf of their large Coldstore warehouse in Corby for Pickers working Sunday - Thursday 22:00 - 06:30.

Pickers are required to work in a Coldstore to accurately pick, pack and prepare customers' orders in line with company standards, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick orders accurately
  • Ensure all orders are completed within deadlines and productivity targets
  • Carry out quality checks to ensure correct items and quantities are selected
  • Report discrepancies, damaged items, or stock shortages to supervisors
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Assist with stock counts and inventory checks as required

Skills and Experience:

  • PPT or Counterbalance Licence is essential
  • Previous warehouse or picking experience desirable but not essential
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience of using warehouse scanners

Physical requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Manual handling, including lifting and moving stock
  • Working in a warehouse environment which includes varying temperatures
