Barker Ross are recruiting for an experienced Overhead Crane Operative to join a busy precast concrete manufacturing site based in Lound, Retford (DN22). This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing, full-time work with regular hours and overtime available.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
- Saturdays paid at time and a half (after 40 hours have been completed in the week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating overhead cranes to safely move precast concrete products
- Lifting and positioning heavy materials around the production facility
- Supporting production and yard teams with material handling
- Carrying out daily crane checks and reporting any faults
- Ensuring all lifting operations are completed safely and in line with site procedures
Requirements:
- Valid overhead crane licence (in-date and accredited)
- Previous experience operating overhead cranes in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Strong awareness of health and safety
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual with a proactive approach to work
