Barker Ross Recruitment are excited to be working with a well-established contractor based in Derby, who are currently seeking an Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a range of exciting projects, ranging from £20k to £9m in value, across both fit-out and main contracting works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor on live projects to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Attend client site meetings to understand project requirements and provide updates.
  • Prepare costings and pricing for works, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Experience & Skills:

  • Previous experience in an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor role, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with Congius software is desirable, but not essential (full training will be provided).
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and project teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

Projects:

Projects ranging from £20k to £9m in value, providing a great variety of work. A mix of fit-out and main contracting works, offering experience in different sectors and project scopes.
