Barker Ross is currently recruiting on behalf of their large Coldstore warehouse in Corby for Pickers working Sunday - Thursday 22:00 - 06:30. The role involves accurately picking, packing and preparing customers' orders in line with company standards, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Pick orders accurately
- Ensure all orders are completed within deadlines and productivity targets
- Carry out quality checks to ensure correct items and quantities are selected
- Report discrepancies, damaged items, or stock shortages to supervisors
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Assist with stock counts and inventory checks as required
- PPT or Counterbalance Licence is essential
- Previous warehouse or picking experience desirable but not essential
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience of using warehouse scanners
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Manual handling, including lifting and moving stock
- Working in a warehouse environment which includes varying temperatures
