Barker Ross is recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative to work within a prestigious corporate office environment in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional maintenance operative with a strong background in commercial facilities management.
Duties
- General office and building maintenance
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- Basic electrical fault finding and minor repairs
- Basic plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Replacing lamps and light fittings
- Fire door inspections
- Weekly and monthly water flushing
- General compliance checks
- Basic HVAC troubleshooting
- Working safely at height using ladders
- General fabric repairs
- Manual handling duties
- Maintaining high health and safety standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative, Maintenance Technician or Handyman
- Experience working within commercial office environments
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Basic plumbing experience
- Good understanding of PPM schedules
- Knowledge of building fabric maintenance
- HVAC awareness
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Health & Safety awareness
Working Pattern
Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm One-hour unpaid lunch
