Machine Operator - Corby
We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company in Corby, specialising in irrigation equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for long-term, stable work in a busy and supportive workshop environment.
Pay: £16.55/hr | Overtime: £24.83/hr
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
- Friday: 08:00 - 16:30
The Role
- Operating and setting manufacturing machinery
- Working with laser cutting, drilling, bending and threading machinery
- Preparing materials and loading machinery
- Checking finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Following technical drawings and work instructions
- Carrying out basic machine adjustments where required
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Meeting production targets and deadlines
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working with factory or manufacturing machinery is preferred
- Experience with laser cutting, xgikmsk drilling, bending or threading machinery would be an advantage
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings or work instructions
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable and willing to learn new machinery and processes
- Good team player with a strong work ethic
- Flexible to work overtime when required
