We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturing company in Corby, specialising in irrigation equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for long-term, stable work in a busy, supportive workshop environment.

Pay: £16.21/hr | Overtime: £24.31/hr

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
  • Friday: 08:00 - 16:30

The Role:

  • MIG welding mild steel (1mm - 15mm)
  • Welding thin and thick sections, with or without jigs
  • Producing strong, water-tight welds
  • Reading and following engineering drawings
  • Preparing materials and setting up equipment
  • Inspecting welds to ensure quality standards
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Meeting production targets and deadlines

  • Proven experience as a MIG Welder
  • Confident welding mild steel across varying thicknesses
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail
