Barker Ross are recruiting for General Operatives for an operation based in the LE12 Shepshed (Loughborough) area. This company has been in business for over 70 years and has provided solutions to a variety of companies in the metal industry including: smelting, shredding and granulation.

Information:

  • 06:00 to 14:30 Monday to Friday
  • This position pays £13.00 p/h

Job Duties:

  • Metal, cable and scrap recycling
  • Manual handling and sorting / picking of material
  • Weighing and monitoring of stock
  • Both inside and outside yard work
  • General cleaning
  • Sweeping and general organising of scrap metal
  • Follow instructions from the supervisor

The ideal candidate:

  • Will have previous experience in a similar role
  • Will be okay with working in a physical job role
  • Reliable and eager to get started
